Can I close deals/update my forecast call after quarter end?

In Clari, is possible to update a deal with a Close Date in last quarter to a closed status after the end date for that fiscal period has passed. However, a rep cannot edit the data in forecasting after quarter end, so it is not possible to update your forecast call from last quarter after that quarter has ended.

Typically, this question comes up if your organizations allows reps to close out deals (and complete the necessary documentation) after the quarter has ended. Most Clari customers use CPQ or another tool to complete such documentation (rather than doing so in Salesforce directly) to avoid any issues with closing deals after quarter end.
