The Salesloft app in Zoom shows live battlecards and your meeting countdown in Zoom’s side panel, so you can act on guidance without leaving your meeting. Use this guide to open the app, read battlecards as topics come up, and keep track of your meeting time.
After completing this guide, you will be able to:
- Open the Salesloft app in your Zoom meeting.
- Read and search battlecards during a live call.
- Track the time left in your meeting.

Before starting, make sure you have the following:
- Zoom connection: Your admin has connected Conversation Intelligence to Zoom through Zoom Real-Time Media Streams (RTMS) and added the Salesloft app for your organization. If you are not sure, ask your admin.
- In-app experience: Your admin has turned on the Zoom in-app experience.
- Conversation Intelligence role: You are assigned a recording role. Observers cannot record.
- Battlecards: Your admin has published battlecards that apply to you. You see only published battlecards assigned to you.
Your Conversation Intelligence recording settings decide which meetings are recorded.
- Join your Zoom meeting: Start or join a meeting that Conversation Intelligence records.
- Open the Apps panel: Select Apps in the Zoom meeting window.
- Open the Salesloft app: Select Salesloft.
- Connect your account (first time only): Select Connect so Salesloft can confirm who you are in Zoom.
- Check the header: Confirm that the header shows the meeting name, a Live badge, and the time left.
- Keep the panel open: When someone mentions a topic your team has a battlecard for, a card appears at the top under Battlecards.
- Read the preview: Read the first lines of the newest card. You can often act on the preview without opening the card.
- Open the full card (optional): Select the card to read it in full.
- Switch to a new card (optional): If a new card arrives while you read, its name and Now appear in a pinned header. Select View to switch to it.
- Search all battlecards (optional): Use Search all battlecards to find any card, whether or not it came up on this call.
- Watch the countdown: The time-left line turns amber in the last 5 minutes. If the meeting runs late, it shows how far over you are.
You have successfully used the Salesloft app in Zoom when:
- The header shows the meeting name, a Live badge, and the time left.
- A battlecard appears under Battlecards when someone mentions a topic your team has a card for.
- The time-left line turns amber in the last 5 minutes of the meeting.
- Earlier cards: Cards from earlier in the call stay on the list, newest first. The Earlier section shows the three most recent. [CONFIRM: the spec says both that earlier cards stay for the whole call and that Earlier keeps three]
- Card text: Cards show text exactly as your admin wrote it.
- Side panel size: You can resize Zoom’s side panel, and the layout adjusts.
- Streaming limits: Live features depend on Zoom RTMS. They stop when the person whose Conversation Intelligence account is connected to the meeting leaves, unless your Zoom admin turned on continuous streaming. For meetings that others host, the host must approve the app.
- Desktop app: With this Zoom in-app experience, you do not need the Conversation Intelligence desktop app for real-time features in Zoom.
