When the Opportunity Updated Play fires, a Review Record task appears in the Rhythm Workflow of the opportunity owner. This helps sellers and account managers respond quickly to key changes—whether it’s progress, risk, or a chance to reengage.
Use Case Examples:
- Reengage a Stale Opportunity
An opportunity with no activity for 30+ days is updated. The Play triggers a Review Record task, prompting the owner to assess the deal, add next steps, and reinitiate engagement. - Revisit a Closed-Lost Deal
A previously lost opportunity is reopened or requalified. The task reminds the seller to re-check historical context and restart a tailored outreach strategy. - Changes in Deal or Account Health
When deal health (e.g., based on activity or sentiment) or account health (e.g., usage or support data) shifts, the Play fires. The owner gets a prompt to update internal notes and determine next steps. - Handoff Between Teams
Ownership of an opportunity changes—e.g., from an SDR to AE, or from AE to CSM post-sale. The new owner receives a Review Record task to align on deal status and responsibilities.
Post-Sale Account Scenarios:
- Churn Risk Identified
If account health signals churn risk, an account owner is prompted to review the opportunity and coordinate retention efforts. - Upsell Opportunity Identified
A product usage spike or leadership change surfaces a new need. The Review Record task helps the AM or CSM evaluate the upsell potential and plan outreach. - Cross-Sell Opportunity Identified
When interest is shown in a different product line, the task ensures the owner follows up with the right positioning or resources.
