Copilot Admin Onboarding Guide

This article covers instructions for self-serve tasks in Copilot! Admin can perform these actions.

Bulk Upload Users

How to bulk upload users via CSV:

1. Go to Workspace Settings > User Management

2. Click "Bulk Upload Users"

3. Download the sample CSV template

4. Fill in user details (name, email, role etc.) in the CSV

5. Click "Upload CSV" and select the filled CSV file

6. Choose if you want to send onboarding emails immediately or not

7. You'll see the status of each user upload (success/failed)

8. Once uploaded, go to "Actions > Send Onboarding Emails" to trigger emails

The ability to delay sending onboarding emails gives admins flexibility. They can:

• First complete any other setup actions

• Stagger email sends if uploading a large number of users

• Send emails at a more convenient time

Bulk actions and onboarding metrics:

The user onboarding dashboard provides a comprehensive view into org-wide and team-level onboarding metrics. Admins can easily identify areas of low adoption and trigger bulk communications or targeted in-app nudges as needed.

• Go to Workspace settings → User management

• View metrics on user onboarding status, calendar sync, voice fingerprint setup, desktop app installation

• Use filters to view metrics by team or individual users

• Identify users who have not completed key onboarding steps

Select those users and trigger bulk actions from the "Actions" menu:

• Send Bulk Reminders: Sends reminders to pending users to sync calendars, upload voice fingerprints, install desktop app
• Resend Invites: Resends welcome/invite emails to users who have not onboarded yet
• Send Pending Welcome Emails: Triggers welcome emails for any users who were added without sending emails initially

For more targeted nudges, filter by team and user, and send in-app notifications prompting them to complete specific actions from the actions menu:

Admin Onboarding Checklist

1. Admins see a guided onboarding checklist on their first login to Copilot

2. The checklist is a comprehensive guide covering all the steps needed to get started:

   • Upload users (via bulk upload or other methods)

   • Set up integrations for CRM, dialers, recording tools etc.

   • Opt-in to AI-powered features like smart summaries, battle cards

   • Configure notification preferences

3. Each step will have detailed instructions and resources

4. Admins can complete the checklist at their own pace

Self-Serve Integrations

1. Go to the Integrations section of the onboarding checklist

2. View all the supported integrations for CRM, dialers, recording tools etc.

3. Select the ones applicable to your tech stack

4. Follow the step-by-step instructions to authenticate and configure the integration

Admins can now self-serve and directly enable any integration supported by Copilot. This removes dependencies on internal teams, allowing admins to get their desired integrations set up quickly.
