Symptoms: When the ‘The following events have incomplete data and are not displayed in the meetings panel’ banner appears under the Meetings tab (Live Feed panel), this means that Salesloft was unable to auto-capture a Person who booked a meeting with you.
Salesloft’s Auto-Person Capture creates Person records based on data from Lofted emails and meeting invites. When someone books a meeting via your calendar link, Salesloft captures their data and uses it to create a Person record. This auto-capture process relies on the following permissions:
If you do not have these permissions enabled, and someone books a meeting via your calendar link, Salesloft will attempt to capture their data but will be hindered from doing so. As a result, this banner (pictured below) will appear under the Meetings tab (Live Feed Panel).
Solution: To remove this banner, and prevent it from appearing in the future, an admin will need to enable the Create People permission and the Create People while Lofting permission.
Things to Note:
-
The Create People permission and the Create People while Lofting permission are automatically enabled for the default roles. If you have a custom admin role, you may need to enable these permissions as they are not enabled by default for custom roles.
-
If you have a custom admin role with the Manage Roles & Permissions permission, you can enable the Create People and Create People while Lofting permissions in your personal Salesloft instance.
To learn how permissions are enabled, check out our Roles and Permissions article. Also, check out the Complete List of Available Permissions to see a full list of Salesloft permissions.
