The Microsoft Teams API Integration automatically captures meetings recorded via Microsoft Teams so they can be reviewed inside Salesloft. This integration works by securely connecting to Microsoft's Graph API to access the meeting files.
While each user on your team will connect their own Microsoft Teams account from their individual Salesloft settings, an admin will need to ensure the appropriate permissions are configure on the Microsoft side.
In this article, we will walk through the admin-specific steps required to ensure the Microsoft Teams API Integration runs smoothly for your entire team, including:
Microsoft Teams Permissions
The Microsoft Teams API Integration relies on the connection between Salesloft and Microsoft Teams. To ensure that users are able to properly establish this connection and set up the Microsoft Teams API Integration, be sure that the permissions listed below are enabled.

Manage Application Consent in Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams admins can manage the way users consent to applications, such as Salesloft and the Microsoft Teams API Integration.
As an admin, you can allow users to consent to applications themselves, or require users to get admin consent to use applications.
To manage your team’s application consent in Microsoft Teams, follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Entra portal as a Global Administrator.
- Select Entra Active Directory.
- Choose Enterprise application.
- Select Consent and permissions, then User consent settings.
- Scroll down to User consent for applications then choose one of the application consent options:
- Do not allow user consent
- Things to Note: If you choose to require admin consent for applications, you can configure the admin consent workflow. This workflow allows you to map out the process by which users request admin consent. To learn more about the Admin Consent Workflow, check out Microsoft’s Configure the admin consent workflow article.
- Allow user consent for apps from verified publishers, for selected permissions
- Allow user consent for all apps
- Hit Save.
