A Conversations Summary is an AI-generated overview of your meetings. These summaries offer a quick recap of what occurred during a meeting so you can review calls and understand prospective customers’ needs in a fraction of the time.
In this article, you will learn how to access and edit ConversationSummaries. This article includes:
Before following the steps in this article, here are the things you’ll need to know:
- Admins must manage access to AI features via the Generative Artificial Intelligence settings.
- For your Conversation Summary to sync to your CRM, a team admin must set your Meeting and Call logging settings.
- The summary is generated during the meeting processing phase; ensure the meeting has finished processing before attempting to view the summary.
- Please Note: AI output should be reviewed to confirm accuracy, as output may be false, incomplete, or misleading.
- Open the Conversation Details Page: Navigate to the Conversations Recordings tab in Salesloft. Find the specific call you would like to review and click the meeting title. This will open the Conversation Details Page, which houses the recording and assessment tools.
- Locate the Summary on the Recap Tab: The Conversations Summary will be displayed in the Recap Tab, providing a summarized version of the call transcript.
- Train the Summary (optional): Conversations Summary provides a feedback mechanism so you can train the AI based on whether the summary was helpful or not. Below the summary, click the Thumbs Up icon to approve of the summary or Thumbs Down if the summary was less than satisfactory.
- Share the Summary (optional): Select the copy icon to copy the summary onto your clipboard. Then you can share the meeting highlights with your team via email or other communication.
- Salesloft Conversations integrates with Google Gemini to process transcripts and create summaries/Action Items, and Key Moments.
- CRM Sync: Once a conversation ends, Salesloft automatically syncs to CRM activity records (Tasks/Events) by writing the AI-generated summary, attendee list, and recording link directly into the CRM's Description / Comments field for those with the AI add on. For more details, check out our Manage CRM Sync help doc. Any errors in syncing to the CRM will be displayed in the CRM Activity Log.
- Review Action Items: Check the Recap tab for AI-generated Action Items to ensure follow-up tasks are assigned.
- Analyze Key Moments: Dive deeper into the recording by clicking on specific Key Moments identified by the AI.
