Setting Up Chat to Zoom
In order to use Chat to Zoom functionality, you'll first want to have your Drift Admin make sure that the integration has been turned on. They'll find where to set this by going to Settings > Integrations > Zoom. From here, they will want to toggle on the “Add Zoom button to Drift Chat” option.

Once this integration is set up, you'll want to make sure to you also have your Zoom account connected to your meetings. To do this, navigate to Settings > App settings > Meetings > Personal Settings and select Connect Zoom.

Starting a Zoom call from Chat
Once set up, Drift will automatically add a new button to the composer in chat which, when clicked, will instantly launch and join a zoom call.

The end user will see a card with all the necessary links and dial-in information so they can jump on the video conference as well. The experience should be streamlined whether you’re in the browser, or on a mobile device so that the end user shouldn’t be required to download or install any new applications to join in.

Simply use Zoom as you normally would to record, chat, and end the video conference as needed. Drift will keep track of when your call starts in the conversation view, and will also work seamlessly with any of your businesses call recording tools as well through no additional setup.

Salesforce Pro Tip: Drift call activity can be added as a task to Salesforce once your Zoom call ends. You can turn this feature on in the sync settings section of the Salesforce Integration page here.
