Your calendar can get disconnected from Drift but this can happen for a variety of reasons, and its normal to experience this periodically.
Here are some of the reasons why your calendar could be disconnected:
- Access was revoked automatically because you reset the password or activated multi-factor authentication
- The connection may have become "stale" and needs to be refreshed
- Your IT department may have changed your organization's security settings
- Access was revoked by your calendar provider (Google or Microsoft) for maintenance or security reasons
To fix, visit your Drift Meeting Settings and reconnect your calendar. If there is still a problem, or if you have any questions, start a chat with us and we'll help you out!
If you received an email telling you your Microsoft calendar was disconnected due to inactive, soft-deleted, or On-Prem hosted you can take these steps to fix the issue
- Check that you have a default calendar enabled in your Outlook app
- Request an Office 365 license from your IT administrator. Drift does not support Exchange, On-Prem, or Hybrid accounts; you must have an Office 365 account
