Daily Digest emails help make sure sales reps have the most up to date information about their accounts available to them every day.

Billing Plan: Daily Digest emails are available on the Premium, Advanced and Enterprise plans.

How Sales Reps can set up Daily Digest Emails

To set up Daily Digest emails, sales reps can navigate to Settings > My Settings > Notifications > Account Activity. Here they can check the Email box next to any filter they want to receive a daily digest email for. If an admin has also enabled daily digest notifications for specific filters then the email will contain information about accounts from the filters that the sales rep selected and accounts from the filters the admin selected. This email will send every day at 7AM. 

Sales reps can also enable these notifications by navigating to the Prospector Dashboard and clicking the gear icon.

How Admins can set up Daily Digest Emails for their Sales Reps

Drift admins have the ability to create custom account filters for their sales reps within Drift Prospector. While creating these filters admins have the option to enable Daily Digest Emails for specific users that they select. Please see our help doc on Drift Prospector for more information on custom filters.

As an admin, navigate to Prospector by clicking on the Prospector dashboard tab. Once in Prospector, click filters and set the constraints you want on your filter. Click Save filter to continue the set up process.

Note: The Daily Digest Email can be configured by Drift admins but the emails are intended for their Sales Reps. It is expected behavior for the Daily Digest Email to NOT be send to Drift Admins.

On the create saved filter screen you can:

• Name your filter
• Share your filter with everyone in your organization
• Set as a default filter for individual users or teams - this is the view that will show every time a user opens prospector
• Turn on daily digest emails and real time desktop notifications for the selected users.

In order to enable daily digest emails, you MUST first check both the Share saved filters with everyone in my organization and Set as the default filter for the following teams and teammates. 

If the daily digest email option is enabled for multiple filters, sales reps will receive an email that provides a quick snapshot of of all site visitor activities from every account in each filter.

How Sales Managers can set up Daily Digest Emails for Themselves

Sales Managers also have the ability to have the Daily Digest email sent to themselves. In order to set this up click on the Prospector Dashboard icon and create a saved filter that fits your parameters. For example, the filter could include all the accounts owned by your team. Please see our help doc on Drift Prospector for more information on custom filters. 

Once your filter is created, navigate to Settings > My Settings > Notifications > Account activity and enable Email notifications for the filter that was just created.
