A skill is an automation rule that defines how Drift should process your email replies. Each type of skill performs a different function.

Learn more about each type below:

• Route and Track - route human replies to your team and track them in your MAP

• Update Contacts - sync contact updates for a cleaner database

• Enrich Contacts - sync phone numbers and job titles to contacts

• Create Mined Contacts - sync new contacts from auto-replies

• Create Sender Contacts - make new contacts for emails from senders not currently in your database
  
  

  If your skills encounter any issues, e.g. a list is removed from your MAP, or a field value is invalid, we'll notify you about it via email. These emails will come from notifications+email@reply.drifttmail.com and will link you to the skill that's failing.
