Site visitors also have the option to email themselves a transcript of their conversation directly from the Drift widget by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner, entering their email and clicking Send email. In order for the button to appear in the upper right corner, an email must first be given in chat. For more information on enabling this feature, check out this help doc.
Note: Drift does not store the email address of anyone who sends themselves a conversation transcript.

- All conversation transcript emails are sent from the Drift email address: notifications+transcript@reply.drifttmail.com. This cannot be customized and DKIM won't apply for those emails
- If a site visitor responds to the chat transcript email, their response will be directed to the individual who engaged in the chat with them.
- When a visitor responds to a conversation transcript email in cases where the conversation was attended only by the bot, those replies will be treated as no-reply emails.
