Please note that only admins are able to access the specific areas that are listed above.

If you are on the Drift Advanced of Enterprise plan you also have access to the Marketer seat. The Marketer seat allows access to playbooks, reporting, and to view conversations. Please note that this seat can not respond to conversations, only view them.
Service
The Service Agent role is available on the Drift FY22 Premium, Advanced, and Enterprise plans. The Service Agent Role is a role in Drift that comes pre built to fit the needs of agents that use Drift as a support service. Now when you invite teammates to your Drift instance, you will have the option to invite them as a Service Agent along with our other existing roles.
Sales Manager
The Sales Manager role is available on the Drift FY22 Premium, Advanced, and Enterprise plans. The Sales Manager Role is a role in Drift that comes pre built to fit the needs of your Sales Managers. Sales Managers can now access the information they need in Drift without also having unnecessary settings in their way.
Things to Note: The Sales Manager roles does not come with playbook access. If a user is assigned as Admin and Sales Manager, they will not have access to playbooks. To prevent this, assign the user as only an Admin.
To assign admin or user roles to a team member follow the steps below, you’ll also be able to assign Pro Video and Calendar permissions to teammates.
To set roles:
- Go to Settings
- Under settings locate Manage Teammates in the side navigation
- Click on a teammates table row
- Use the dropdown menu to assign the desired role
- Click Save when finished

Drift Account ownership is transferable between teammates. Any user who is an admin can transfer account ownership to any other admin in the account, including themselves.
