You can now edit or remove your custom subdomains for your Conversational Landing Pages!

We know that sometimes your brand and strategy may change, so we're adding more flexibility so you make these changes yourself!

Updating Your Subdomain

To update your subdomain, head to your bot settings, click Conversational Landing Pages and then click Verify CNAME values. You'll see a modal with your generated CNAME records. At the bottom you'll see a button reading Change subdomain. Click that to change your subdomain and generate new records for your provider.

Note:

This works only for CNAMEs that have not yet been verified within Drift. If your CNAME has already been verified, keep reading!

Removing Your Subdomain

If you'd like to change your CNAME but the subdomain has already been verified, you can completely remove it!

Head to your bot settings, and click Remove domain. Click Remove domain again on the confirmation modal that appears. You'll then be able to create a new CNAME for your subdomain!


 

Note:

In order to use the previous subdomain somewhere else, you'll need to remove the record from your DNS provider.
