Before going live, please walk through the below settings to ensure that Drift is set up to your liking.

The Settings screen is accessed via the gear icon on the left hand navigation bar and gives you access to the following areas: 

My Settings - for a full walk through of the My Settings reports, please see here: 

• Account - update name, email, and profile picture/avatar.
• Drift Profile - think of this as your online business card, where customers can come to book a meeting or chat directly with you. 
• Email - update your email signature for any email reminders that Drift may send out on your behalf. 

Organization Settings - for a full walk through of the Organization Settings reports - settings that focus on setting up Drift to match how your organization is set up - please see here: 

• Plan and Billing - the summary of chat plan and seats on your plan. 
• Manage Teammates - inviting teammates, setting roles, managing availability for others.
• Teams - teams allow you to manage your chat teams & streamline routing fallbacks by team. 
• Company details
• Data Privacy - setting up Data Privacy Consent and Management (GDPR Compliance)
• Security - set up two-factor authentication (Require each user to configure and use two-factor authentication), SAML (Allow identity providers to authenticate users), password requirements (Minimum length, unique character requirements) and session timeout (Set idle teammates to be automatically logged out of Drift after a set amount of time)

• Drift Widget - set up the widget to display when you want, how you want, and to whom you want, as it is responsible for managing the majority of your visitors’ interactions through Drift.
