What is the Service Agent Role?

The Service Agent Role is a role in Drift that comes pre built to fit the needs of agents that use Drift as a support service. Now when you invite teammates to your Drift instance, you will have the option to invite them as a Service Agent along with our other existing roles. 

Onboarding

Step 1: You'll first be prompted to enter your name and uploading a photo of yourself if you would like to have a photo set in Drift.

 

Step 2: You will then be prompted to set your password for your Drift account.

Step 3: Next you will be prompted to connect your calendar. Check out this doc for more information on getting your calendar connected.

Step 4: You'll then be prompted to download and setup the Drift Chrome extension. Check out this help doc for more information regarding the Drift Chrome extension.

 

Step 5: You're all set up!
