- Monitor, optimize, and report on Drift’s performance: See quick insights across the entire funnel, from conversations and emails captured to meetings booked and pipeline influenced.

Billing Plan: The Slack integration is available on all Drift plans.
In this article, we'll cover
For Drift Admins:

- The new Drift homepage on Slack shows you key details about how Drift is performing, from conversations and emails captured to meetings booked and pipeline influenced.
- New meeting notifications keep you updated about new pipeline being generated through Drift.
- Digests of your key metrics get pushed to you in Slack — so you don’t have to go out of your way to check how Drift is performing.
For Drift Chat Users:
- Conversation notifications let you know when you’ve been added to a chat and need to respond.
- ABM notifications notify you any time someone from one of your targeted account lists lands on your site.
Managing Notification Settings
There are two notification types you can receive through Slack: New Conversation and Target Account Visitor on site. The New Conversation notifications will send for each conversation section you enable notifications for within Drift while Target Account Visitor on Site notifications will send for each account list you enable notifications for within Drift.
Next to each notification you will see a dropdown menu asking if the notification is helpful. To ensure you receive these notifications, make sure you use the dropdown menu to select "Yes, keep these coming". Selecting "No, don't show these again" will disable that type of notification. If you accidentally disable either of these notifications you can do a search in slack (command + F on a mac, control + F on windows) to find a notification and re-enable them. For conversation notifications search "you've joined a conversation" and for ABM notifications search "Is on". Once you find the proper notification you can use the drop down menu to re-enable the notifications.
Note!
The Drift > Slack Integration does NOT send you a notification for every message that comes through, you'll ONLY receive notifications for what we have listed above.
Here are examples of Drift notifications in Slack. You can leverage these examples to search for a previous notification to enable or disable that notification type.

Note: if your Slack workspace has restrictions on which apps can be installed, you may need a Slack Admin to approve the Drift Slack App before you can begin.
- Admin Users: in Drift, go to Settings > App Settings > Integrations > Slack. Or, click here!
- Chat Users: go to the Slack App Directory, search for the Drift App, and click Add to Slack. Or, click here!
Click Sign in with Slack and do the following in the modal that pops up:
- Sign in to your intended Slack workspace
- Authorize Drift to connect
Note: Chat users in Drift must individually setup their connection to Slack. Connecting the integration as an admin will not connect it for all users in your Drift instance.
Once you put in the name of your workspace, you'll be prompted to sign into that workspace with your Slack credentials. Click Authorize and after the permissions are accepted you're all done! Once it's connected you should see the following within Drift.
