To see available options in our legacy chat view, you can click on Keyboard Shortcuts at the bottom right of your compose box within the Conversations view, or by typing

• Command and / (slash) on a Mac
• Control and / (slash) on a PC

You'll see a sidebar appear on the right listing all the keyboard shortcuts you can use! 

 

In our new conversation view the following Hot-Key Shortcuts are still available:

Also, a few of the previous options have been replaced by /slash commands

 

/invite - bring a teammate into the conversation

/note - leave important information that only your teammates and you can see

/sendtranscript - provide your site visitor, a fellow Drift user, or yourself a copy of the conversation through email. Note: Site visitor needs to provide them their email to make this possible

/block - it will prevent the user from sending further messages - this will only block their IP address and not their email. They will still be able to chat if they use a different IP address.

/savedreply - pre-loaded answers to common questions you receive

/tag - helpful way to categorize site-visitors based on activities or actions they have taken

/sync - transfer conversation data immediately into your CRM
